Small Rain

Material used are linoleum, Caligo oil-based inks, Rives cotton paper, and watercolor. The images of swallows and cattails was first sketched onto unmounted linoleum, then carved. This image was rolled with black ink and hand-pressed onto the paper. When the ink was fully cured, the image was painted with watercolor. I am inspired by the tenacity of tree swallows. Unframed image size is 7X9 inches.
